Betterview, a San Francisco and San Diego-based company building insight through aerial imagery and machine learning, is looking for a Brand and Marketing Designer to help tell the world about its industry-leading Enterprise SaaS platform.

  • Working closely with the Lead Designer to scale and amplify the Betterview brand in new ways across our website and digital channels.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to plan, concept and design marketing materials that simplify complex concepts and inspire confidence.
  • Creating original vector based icons and illustrations.
  • Designing for a wide range of projects including presentations, collateral, trade show expos, videos, web pages, email campaigns, and partner marketing.
  • Ensuring quality in all aspects of creative execution.


  • Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4-10 years experience with designing for assets across email, social and paid media campaigns.
  • An excellent online portfolio showcasing visual design work, highlighting multiple projects and your direct contributions. Please be sure to submit your online portfolio at the time of application.
  • A command of visual and communication design principles.
  • Ability to communicate design concepts through sketches and wireframes.
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign) as well as Microsoft Office (Word and PowerPoint).

The successful candidate:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; both written and verbal.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a team player.
  • Attention to detail, multitasking, and working well under pressure are musts.
  • Previous experience working in a startup is a plus.
  • Familiarity with a product design tool like Sketch is a plus.
  • Experience with a project management tool like Monday or Ira is a plus.
