THE OPPORTUNITY
We are currently seeking a well-spoken and resourceful individual with excellent presentation skills to join the Betterview team as an Alliance Manager. This person will be responsible for managing Betterview's strategy and relationships with our partners. Betterview currently integrates dozens of third-party data sources into its platform under a variety of commercial terms and is integrated into multiple third-party platforms. To be successful in this role, an Alliance Manager needs to gain a deep understanding of how Betterview’s product leverages third-party data and is integrated into other third-party platforms. Further, the Alliance Manager should understand the mutual value that Betterview’s partnerships generate for our customers, our partners, and Betterview. This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of cutting-edge technology that gives our customers unparalleled insight into their most important decisions.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Design, develop and implement customized strategies and business plans that supports and builds relationships with our partners.
  • Ability to develop and maintain partner relations with company partners; understand their product and services and it relates to Betterview’s product and work with Betterview’s Product team to design an integration that delivers value to end users.
  • Develop a deep understanding of and ability to effectively communicate Betterview’s products including the role of third-party data.
  • Coordinate with partners to highlight selling points of each alliance and close deals.
  • Negotiate and drive the execution of partner agreements including the commercial terms.
  • Identify key markets for expansion and coordinate internal teams to foster revenue growth with new and existing customers.
  • Work closely with product management and marketing teams to understand roadmaps and assess opportunities for new integrations.
  • Develop rapport with other companies with the goal to generate incremental business.
  • Maintain and update existing business relationships; build strong connections.
  • Ensure quality and timeliness of communication deliverables.
  • Research competitors and trends to identify opportunities and risk.
  • Contract prospective clients, identify needs and match to products.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO OUR COMPANY

  • Bachelors’ degree required.
  • Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in alliance management and/or business development at a SaaS company or information technology company.
  • Strong presentation skills including from conception to completion.
  • Effective listener and ability to shift approach based on conversations in the moment.
  • Experience in a start-up technology environment preferred.
