Betterview, a San Francisco and San Diego-based company building insight through aerial imagery and machine learning, is looking for an Information Technology Support Technician to maximize platform reliability. Betterview is the only property data platform that informs every transaction for decision-makers who want to reduce risk, cost & waste in an increasingly competitive environment. Betterview seeks a motivated and intuitive technician to support Betterview’s internal users and systems. This individual should have some level of experience working with cloud based tools for supporting corporate users. This individual should have a willingness to learn, and desire to grow in their career.

Betterview works on Macs with a few Windows machines interspersed throughout the org. We employ MDM software to allow for automated machine setups. Betterview supports accounts throughout many cloud different systems and has scripts to provision those accounts.


  • Supporting Betterview’s corporate users and ensuring their machines are functioning properly. For example, providing users with loaner machines when their existing machines are failing.
  • Supporting Betterview’s two office locations including supporting conferencing equipment and wall television setups, as well as supporting remote users as-needed.
  • Handling the technical portions of Betterview’s onboarding and offboarding processes including provisioning/deprovisioning accounts. Potentially extending existing scripts to make this process more automated.
  • Maintaining an asset tracking system for Betterview’s machines.
  • Rebuilding and prepping machines for redeployment, when necessary.
  • Managing cloud accounts such as Office 365, and Google Suite.
  • Assisting the site reliability team with various requests related to compliance and building out reporting for Betterview’s SOC2 Type2 yearly audits.
  • Assisting in triaging application bugs as they arise.


  • 2-3 years working in an information technology support role.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Macs and some experience working with Windows.
  • Some experience managing Google Apps for Domains and/or Office 365.
  • Some experience with a scripting environment like Bash, Powershell, or other.
